Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to dcmburner.com, DcmBurner trial downloads and license requests, product activation, purchases, and support communications that link to this policy.
Hangzhou Baoluo Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for the personal information described here. Our address is Room 305, 13th Building, Tongxie Jinzuo Business Center, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the website and product services.
- Trial and download information: your name, work email address, company or hospital, request time, and IP address.
- License and activation information: your name, email address, organization, machine code, authorization code, generated license, activation status, dates, and IP address.
- Purchase information: order identifiers, purchaser and company details, billing and delivery details, country, transaction totals, currency, payment status, fraud status, and related records received from 2Checkout. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
- Communications: information you include when contacting sales or support, together with the messages needed to respond to your request.
- Technical and measurement information: browser and device information, pages viewed, timestamps, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP, advertising click information, consent state, and conversion events.
Medical and patient information
Our website, trial, purchase, and license forms are not designed to collect DICOM studies, medical images, protected health information, or other patient records. Do not submit patient information through these forms or ordinary email.
If support work could require access to medical data, contact us first. Remove or de-identify patient information wherever possible and use a separately agreed secure method. Your organization remains responsible for deciding whether it has the necessary authority, safeguards, and agreements for any disclosure.
How and why we use information
We use information to provide downloads and licenses, validate authorization codes, process and reconcile orders, send transactional emails, provide support, protect the website and licensing service, prevent duplicate trials and fraud, maintain records, and improve our product and website.
Depending on the context and applicable law, we process information to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or based on your consent for optional measurement technologies.
Payments and 2Checkout
Purchases are completed on checkout pages operated by 2Checkout, a Verifone company. 2Checkout acts as merchant of record and processes payment and fraud-prevention information under its own terms and privacy notice.
After a transaction, 2Checkout sends us order and customer information needed to confirm the purchase, create authorization codes, deliver licenses, provide support, and keep business and tax records.
Cookies, local storage, and measurement
We store your measurement choice in local storage under dcmburner_consent_v1 so the website can remember it. You can reopen Privacy choices at the bottom of the page and change that choice.
Google Analytics and Google Ads are configured with Consent Mode. Before you consent, storage is denied; Google tags may still send limited cookieless signals, such as consent state, timestamp, browser information, referrer, and whether an advertising click identifier was present. If you allow measurement, Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and conversions. Advertising personalization remains disabled in our implementation.
A Plausible-compatible analytics script served through sdxl.me is loaded only after you allow measurement. Browser settings may also let you remove stored identifiers, but blocking required storage may affect saved preferences.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. Trial and license records may be retained to provide the requested license, verify entitlement, support customers, and prevent abuse. Purchase and accounting records may be retained for the periods required by tax, payment, and other applicable laws.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it, subject to backups, security records, dispute preservation, and legal obligations.
International processing and security
Because we and our providers operate internationally, information may be processed in China, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other locations where our providers operate. Where required, transfers are handled using recognized legal safeguards.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including encrypted network transport, access controls, signed payment notifications, and service-provider security controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it, including records needed to establish a transaction or software entitlement.
Children
DcmBurner is business software intended for healthcare organizations and professionals. The website and services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected] or mailed to Hangzhou Baoluo Technology Co., Ltd., Room 305, 13th Building, Tongxie Jinzuo Business Center, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.
